  • 10 Q Are there any benefits other than scholarships?
    A

    In addition to scholarships, financial support such as travel expenses and registration fees is provided for participation in academic conferences.


    Incentives are also provided for journal publications in accordance with relevant regulations.

    (Material expenses and research activity expenses may also be supported depending on each participating professor’s research laboratory.)

  • 9 Q Where and how is the internship program conducted?
    A

    The internship program can be completed during vacation periods through companies supported by the Specialized Graduate Program.


    The Specialized Graduate Program provides financial support to participating companies so that students can receive compensation during their internship period.

    (Students may also connect with participating companies independently.)

  • 8 Q Can currently enrolled students participate in the program?
    A

    Yes, students can participate regardless of whether they are new students, currently enrolled students, or part-time students, as long as they are able to complete the required track curriculum (12 credits).

  • 7 Q What happens if I take a leave of absence or discontinue my studies during the program?
    A

    Scholarships provided by the Specialized Graduate Program are granted on the condition that students complete the required track curriculum.


    If a student discontinues their studies due to reasons such as employment and gives up completing the track curriculum, the full amount of the scholarship received must be returned.


    In the case of a temporary leave of absence, students are not required to return the scholarship. However, if it is determined that a student has no intention of completing the track due to a long-term leave of absence, the return of the scholarship may be required.

  • 6 Q What is an Industry-Academia Collaborative Project?
    A

    It is a small-scale research project conducted in collaboration with companies based on a selected research topic.


    When participating in a project for three months or longer, the Specialized Graduate Program provides financial support for personnel expenses up to 50% of the student’s participation rate.

  • 5 Q Can this scholarship be combined with other university scholarships?
    A

    Yes, this scholarship can be combined with other scholarships because it is not a tuition-based scholarship.

    (However, the total amount of scholarships received cannot exceed the maximum allowable scholarship amount.)

  • 4 Q When is the scholarship provided, and how much is the scholarship amount?
    A

    The scholarship is provided after the course registration change period each semester.


    Full-time Korean students receive a scholarship equivalent to 100% of their department tuition fees, while part-time students and international students receive a scholarship equivalent to 50% of their department tuition fees.

  • 3 Q When can students in an integrated Bachelor’s-Master’s program participate?
    A

    Undergraduate students are not eligible to participate, regardless of whether they are allowed to take graduate-level courses.


    Students may participate after completing their undergraduate degree.

  • 2 Q What are the eligibility requirements to participate in the Specialized Graduate Program?
    A

    Applicants must be new or currently enrolled students who are able to complete the required track curriculum (completion of 12 course credits required).

  • 1 Q How can I participate in the Specialized Graduate Program?
    A

    Please submit the required application documents for the Specialized Graduate Program (refer to the Specialized Graduate Program website for details).

    After an internal review process, a Track Participation Certificate confirming your participation in the Specialized Graduate Program will be issued.
